I had a gastric sleeve procedure in September at Beneden Hospital and I cannot rate the services more highly. From my first consultation right through to the operation, it has been an amazing experience. Katie peck, the dietician is amazing and so inspirational, the surgeon, Mr hamouda was outstanding and extremely professional. Coming from a healthcare profession, I was anxious about being on the other side and being a patient but the care I received from all of the staff, including healthcare assistants has been second to none. I will always remember the anaesthetist who made me feel like royalty in the theatre! Even though I was used to a theatre environment, he made me feel extremely relaxed. Maria, the specialist nurse is an incredible assest to the team and very knowledgeable. I felt safe and confident in the care provided by them. Finally, I would 100% recommend Mr Hamouda, Beneden Hospital and the team to family and friends. I will make sure I send some before and after pictures!

I had a gastric sleeve performed in September 2017 and was the best thing I have done. Mr Hamouda discussed all options with me before coming to the right conclusion for me. Operation was a great success and I have not felt better for a long time. I have lost 6 stone and feel fit and healthy. Wish I had done this years ago. Mr. Hamouda was fantastic and the follow-up consults great, with advise when needed.

I had the gastric sleeve procedure done by DR Hamouda at bennedon hospital. I was very nervous at first about having such big procedure and worried about the after support from it. But this was the best decision I have made from 23 stone to 11 stone in 9 months and diabetic to non diabetic has been the best change of my life. Dr hamouda was extremely helpful from day one all the way up to a year on. Such friendly and supportive service and best quality. I had no complecations as the surgery was done so well. If anyone is thinking of having weight loss surgery Dr hamouda is defiantly the person to see. By far the best in the UK.

Mr Ahmed Hamouda is a truly gifted person who transformed and probably saved my life! I opted for a Sleeve Gastrectomy and from the start of my weightloss journey the care and treatment I have received from Mr Hamouda and his team has been second to none. I entered Benenden Hospital on the 11th January 2018 with a start weight of 106kg. Today, August 28th 2018 I am 72kg. Shortly after the operation, which was painless and not uncomfortable at all. I had slight problems with keeping fluids down and vomiting. Mr Hamouda whipped me straight back into hospital and with no messing about found the problem and fixed it. He and his specialist nurse Maria, and the lovely patient staff at Benenden, were there every step of the way and got me back on track and looking forward to a slim, pain free healthy life. Mr Hamouda had met with me regularly to monitor my weight and provide advice to ensure my welbeing. The only regret I have is that I didn’t have this operation sooner! Thankyou Mr Hamouda for everything! I highly recommend you to anybody who decides to take this journey.
